The next WWD1 Neighborhood meeting will take place Wednesday, April 30th, starting 6:45pm (15 minutes or so of socializing/catching up with neighbors, informal start at 7pm.)
This meeting will be in-person, at: Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches, 3220 Manor Rd
Quiet, plenty of room... they have a huge outdoor space with picnic tables, etc. It's friendly to anyone, kids, non-drinkers, etc. You do not even have to enter into the restaurant. You can enter right into the outdoor area – and they have snacks and food, and even a barbecue food truck outside.
The meeting will be summarized afterwords in some form (re: the issues discussed), but not "streamed," and there won't be any PPT presentations, etc.
We will discuss some of the big topics in our neighborhood:
• What's going on with the "Caps" (mini urban "parks") that might be built on top of the new I35, right by WWD1? (And other I35 issues, such as what the new frontage roads, and entrance/exit from WWD1 will look like)
• Update on our WWD1 "Creek Committee" – led by committee chair Libby Chennell and with great involvement of many others, they – we – have accomplished a lot. Where is it going from here?
•Update on recent changes to City Zoning, and how those changes relate to other dynamics such as deed restrictions, proposed new commercial development in the area, and more.

• What's on your mind? Free discussion of important issues to you.
Come and get to know neighbors you haven't met. Talk to each other, and explore the issues that are important to you.
