Beginning in fall 2022, and very active on many levels today, the Creek Committee of the Wilshire Wood Neighborhood Association consists of volunteers that work actively to both clean up Boggy Creek and work with City of Austin, county, and state agencies to plan for ongoing and future improvements around aesthetics, safety, mobility, sustainability, and equity.
Any neighbor is encouraged to participate. And note, children are welcome. In fact, we typically include on Creek Cleanup days fun, organized activities for children that are (very) light on cleanup – focusing on environmental awareness, sustainability, and green issues in their own backyard.
